How is relationship coaching helpful?

Relationship coaching focuses on your current position and uses clues from your recent past to identify ways to improve.  As your coach, my focus is to advocate for the relationship by helping individuals, couples, and families understand why they're not getting along and the origin of their patterns.  


What is the difference between coaching and therapy

Therapy seeks to remove pain using a medical model that focuses on the past. Coaching seeks to empower by facilitating self-discovery and focusing on the future. AS will refer you to a therapist if the depth of the problem is beyond coaching.

My coaching method focuses on the impact of social constructs on women's relationships. The goal is to heal relationships by partnering with clients to help establish productive patterns so they can reframe expectations in order to have fulfilling relationships.

I decided to specialize in Mother-Daughter relationships because I realized in my own life how societal views and expectations of women have had negative impacts on women's relationships.  Women are often exhausted because they give so much of themselves to others while receiving little or none of what they need.  Conflict can result from women competing to get emotional support from limited sources.  Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled.
